We are here to serve you. It’s that simple.

We are your partners for life.

Yes, we begin with money. But that’s only the starting point. The end-goal is to help you live the life you want to live—without outliving your money. That’s why we work with you to give you the knowledge, tools, and guidance you need to make smart decisions along the way. Ultimately, we strive to give you peace of mind through careful planning and knowing you always have a friend at your side—for life.

Our only “boss” is you.

As a boutique financial planning and wealth management firm, we are dedicated to serving you and your family. That means that as your fiduciary consultants, we always put your interests first. We don’t receive or pay commissions or referral fees for the products and services we recommend. You are our only priority.

We bring experience to the table.

Financial planning is about so much more than dollars and cents. Our team has decades of experience helping women like you manage every kind of challenge. Yes, we’ve studied and applied the process of complex financial planning, and we’re skilled at allocating assets and managing risk like the best of them. But unlike many traditional financial planners, we take the time to listen, to understand, and to plan according to your needs and your goals. That’s the kind of experience that matters most.

Founder & President

When women ask what spurred me to open my own advisory firm, my answer is pretty simple. I know exactly what it’s like to wish for more confidence about money—and how hard it is for women to find an advisor who doesn’t “mansplain” the facts!

For most of my life, I’ve been the family CFO. Sometimes by choice. Sometimes by necessity. I married early, and divorced with two young kids in tow. I remarried and faced the challenge of merging multi-family finances. I’ve had breast cancer. I’ve been widowed (from my second husband, after serving as his caregiver for years following a debilitating stroke). I’ve been a corporate executive, a stay-at-home mom, and a business owner. And through it all, the one constant was a need to make sure my finances were the least of my challenges.

I founded Klein Financial Advisors in 2003. Since then, our team has helped hundreds of independent women and their families take charge of their financial lives by helping them understand how to make their money work for them—all without mansplaining a thing.

To give me the tools to provide the best possible service to every client (and hopefully to you!), I have been trained as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Practitioner and a CERTIFIED DIVORCE FINANCIAL ANALYST™ (CDFA). I’ve completed mediation training at Mosten Mediation and am currently earning my certification as a Certified Life Transitionist. More years ago than I’d like to admit, I earned my bachelor's degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and my MBA from Pepperdine University

Today, I am as committed to serving in our clients’ best interests as ever. I am a NAPFA Registered Financial Advisor and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) where I served as a board member of the Orange County chapter from 2005 to 2008. I’ve served as an active member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Orange County - Practice Group. In support of our community in and around Newport Beach, I have served in financial and service roles on many non-profit boards, including on the Executive Board of the Jewish Federation and Family Services of Orange County. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Heritage Pointe, on the Advisory Board of the Jewish Community Foundation of Orange County and the American Jewish Committee—a global advocacy organization.

Brittany Mangrum

Associate Financial Planner

Brittany joined Klein Financial Advisors in early 2019. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), she has a clear passion for educating clients and helping them make smart decisions that support a lifetime of financial confidence.

Brittany’s drive to help people gain control of their financial lives is, at least in part, the result of losing her mother at just 16 years old. After spending the following months helping her father get the family’s financial affairs in order, she saw first hand the vital role of smart planning, as well as how having a comprehensive plan can boost your confidence moving forward. Ever since, she has wanted to help others take the necessary steps to build a solid financial foundation and begin planning for the future as early as possible.

Brittany’s mother’s biggest wish was that she pursue a strong education. Brittany did not let her down. She graduated from high school at age 16 and went straight to college where she earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in financial planning, as well as a master’s degree in taxation from Cal State Northridge. Her CFP designation is icing on the cake. She is also an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Orange County.

Though she interacts with all of our clients, as a bona fide Millennial, Brittany brings a fresh, new perspective on all things financial that is particularly appreciated by our younger clients. One of her proudest accomplishments at her prior firm was educating her co-workers about their company-sponsored 401(k) plan—which they’d had access to for years but did not understand—and creating a huge wave of participation! Her passion for financial planning is infectious.

Whether Brittany’s energy comes from her 13 years as a cheerleader, her spirit as a huge sports fan, her enthusiasm for staying active (she hikes, paddleboards, and participates in high-intensity interval training, just for starters), or something else entirely, one thing is clear: Brittany loves cheering people on and encouraging success. We’re thrilled to have her on our home team!
